Very tasty food. The burgers are exceptionally good. Also offer delivery via an APP. To be able to order comfortably from the local gastronomy via an APP during Corona times. Payment by credit card is also possible. When ordering, make sure that you don't order 2 minutes before the shop closes, otherwise you will simply be late ;-). If you have any questions or are unclear, the boss will contact you personally to clarify, that's what I call service. Until next time :)

Good German cuisine at a fair price, nice wait staff and great flair in the barrels

I can only warmly recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious and the prices are fair. The best thing is the barrels in which you can eat with friends undisturbed. A really brilliant idea, especially when everything outside is snowy. An unforgettable experience.

Delicious food with very nice service

I wanted to order something to eat there and then pick it up because I have two children and cannot eat in the restaurant. Then I was told on the phone that the beer garden is full and these guests take precedence, and then you were also turned on stupidly on the phone, honestly, if they don't offer the service then they should change that on their homepage too, I'll definitely be there no more ordering, let alone eating, just being naughty.

Has been there many times now .. I really have to say .. There was never anything to complain about .. Prices are okay with decent portions .. The staff was very courteous .. Were asked at least 5 times .. Whether everything was okay .. So really highly recommended ..

Price-performance ratio is really great, but I miss the totally extraordinary dishes with a kick. The location itself is great, in the middle of the forest with a beautifully laid out beer garden, eating vessels, playground.

Super nice, super tasty, gladly again. Great citizens, schnitzel and salads. A vegetarian selection and something for children on the menu. There is also a playground on the property for the kids.

The staff is very friendly and attentive, in spite of the fact that the beer garden was fully booked, the two ladies take time for the guests and ask in between if everything is okay, you feel welcome The food has a consistent quality, the hamburgers and the schnitzel platter that are available for 2 and 4 people are really great, but very powerful so something for the big hunger, but aluminum foil is served to wrap it up 🤗. At the moment it is advisable to make a reservation, which speaks for itself

Good food, good drinks

The ambiance of the barrels is undeniable. But the reservation & pre-order requirements are way too complicated. No romantic dinner for two allowed in the barrels, they can only be booked for a minimum of 4 adults. Raclette can also only be booked for a minimum of 4, and fondue for a minimum of 2. Everyone in our group had to agree on the same meal before we even arrived, as both had to be pre-ordered 24 hours in advance. The fondue was okay, but was only served with plain bread. The 4 adult portion was €70 and did not feed four adults. No pickles or anything else was provided. The dessert card was also disappointing. Mostly just ice cream. Who would eat ice cream after a cozy winter meal? For our group of 4, we spent €130 and left hungry. You can rent a barrel overnight with dinner, breakfast and 3 bottles of wine included for €168 at Schlafen Im Weinfass, which is a much better experience.

Service was quick and friendly and the menu selection on the menu is absolutely sufficient. We were with a group and everyone was satisfied, the price / performance ratio was right. Next time we want to reserve a place in one of the barrels. ________ We have now spent a cozy evening in one of the barrels and can only recommend this experience. Here too we were served briskly, attentively and very friendly. The food was excellent. We look forward to our next visit.

Loved my experience and food.

In this restaurant you could reserve a beer keg, and spend the evening in this restaurant. This gives this restaurant a special ambiance and is definitely a new experience. The beer barrel is heated in winter. The price is restaurant typical and tastes delicious.

What a great place! Fondue in a cozy wine barrel.. It is so cute and s fun experience. We will definitely return.

Very nice ambience in the wooden barrels. There is a manually adjustable heating and internet radio. 6 adults can comfortably eat and drink. For 8 it becomes tight to eat. We were there with 4 adults and 2 children. There is a small playground that can be seen from part of the barrels. The location outside the village in the forest at the end of a cul-de-sac results in little traffic, so that children can play relatively safely. The food is good and I can recommend it. Actually everyone should find something for themselves.

Super cute giant beer cases. They have a radio inside with usb entry so you can create your own atmosphere. Perfect for a diner for two although they fit around 8 people inside. Foot is good, typical German food. Great portions :)

Place nicely decorated, good service and tasty food. Nice presentation. They have a couple of options that can be served gluten free if requested.

One the most beautiful restaurants I have been in Germany, the food was AMAZING, the ambient was great and great personnel, loved everything about it I will come back more often ❤️

Absolutely charming dining experience in the wine fassdorfs! Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the Spielplatz as well. Cannot wait to go back!
